Point and Inlay Equipment:

Our Cue Smith Inlay Machine. All cues from 1995 to 2004 were inlaid using this type of inlay machine. Before 1995 most were done using an old Gorton pantograph.

In 2004 we started using this CNC machine for doing some of our inlay work. Both machines are very accurate, but the CNC machine gives more flexibility in designs. It also help cut down on the aching neck pain I get from hours of leaning over the manual inlay machine.

This is our milling machine set up to cut v-groove points.

Various inlay slabs ready to be cut up and put in cues.

Belt sander with custom fence for truing up point squares and another 101 uses. I use it in the off position to the sand the back of inlays and tips.
